Media Kit Q & A
What has been the most rewarding moments in your music career?
The most rewarding moments so far have been producing and singing with MC Flipside because he is very serious about every sound and element in the song that it makes me laugh because he makes it seem like do or die, but he's fun to write songs with. I love working with Dep who also works with Tory Lanes; my song "Leave" and "Novacaine Press (remix)" sounds amazing.
What can we look forward to from you in 2019 and beyond?
Look forward to my album, music videos & live performances definitely in Toronto, New York and LA.
Do you have a favourite genre of music you prefer?
My fav genre is R&B, Hip Hop, Jazz and anything dreamy sounding is my style.
Who do you hope to collaborate with in the future and do you have any in the works now?
I would love to collaborate with one of the top 3, but I also am a fan of INASX, a singer from L.A., as well as female rapper Vialsss from Vancouver.
Who are your top 3 most influential women in music and how have these women help shape your career?
The top three most influential women in music to me would be
A) Kehlani cause she is charming when she speaks, dances amazing, sings about love & men in the most honest ways, sings with soul & she owns being true to herself which is how I am as well as an artist, person & songwriter, style etc. She embodies rnb vocals amazing & I feel her chill vibes in her music. She loves singing about being a strong woman and how she moves on from several situations with certainty. B) Christina Aguilera - she made me want to be a singer at age 10 from her outstanding vocal acrobatics that no other does (fancy notes in all her songs) - her runs which made me love singing, her fashion/music videos made me love her & she always sings about empowering topics as well, & is always sensual with her sound.
C) tinashe - I respect the fact she sings with wide range, writes all her songs, dances intricately and owns her looks as well. She is so feminine, yet very confident & hip hop hard in her performances; I love the fact she produced and wrote her mixtapes; her dancing is versatile & I love her overall vibe as an artist. She exudes philosophical, deep messages, & is extremely sensual. Each of these artists are beautiful, talented and represent strength. 🌷
These women have made me want to be the best dancer I can be with my performances, write all my music, exude confidence with my vocals, moves and to overall love who I am and own it as they do in a creative way, writing about the good & bad in empowering ways 🌈
